UConn vs. Miami Preview. Which Side am I on?

Another newbie in Miami vs. UConn who is looking to win their fifth national title since 1999. This matchup completely breaks my brain because Miami could shoot UConn out of the gym while limiting Adama Sanogo on the other end, OR UConn could just run away with it like they have with every other team in this year’s tournament.

If UConn didn't have a stretch in the middle of the year where they went 6-8, they would have been the top overall seed, and people wouldn't be nearly as shocked they are performing the way they are right now. In the Super Scintillating Selections, I referred to Adam Sanogo and Jordan Hawinks as “a one-two punch that will knock you out.” They have done exactly that through the first four games of the tournament. It has been truly incredible to watch them just run through opponents and never look back.

Every game they have played over the last three weeks has been a no contest, there was never a doubt what the final result would be…a UConn dubya. So why not just take UConn spread here? Cause Miami has a veteran coach in Jim Larrańaga who has been to a Final Four before….and beat UConn on his way to the Final Four….that was also in Houston, when he was at Georege Mason. The stars are aligning for Miami to take this one home and me and my $25 to win $200 future do NOT like it.

It is more than just stars that are aligning for Miami as well, their impact players are stepping up to the plate and the light will not be too bright for them in Houston, they have that dawg in them and dawgs don’t back down when the stage is big, they embrace it. Look for Isiah Wong, Jordan Miller, Nijel Pack, and Wooga Poplar to just unleash the fury from behind the arc tonight, and for Norchad Omier to limit (not stop) Adama Sanogo. I have a feeling this game will be one for the ages.

Both of these teams are averaging above 80 PPG during the tournament and I do not see that changing in the slightest tonight. Look for both teams to move fast, and be efficient on the offensive end. I don't think either team has the power to shut down the other in this one. GIVE ME POINTS

So, I will not be on a side tonight (besides my future), but instead I will be on the over 149.5. Ride with me and let's just root for points tonight. It'll be #fun, trust me.
